My Photos

You are free to upload your photo to your profile. However, our statistics reveal that adding a photo to your profile increases the number of times your profile is viewed by 10x times. You are likely to receive 10x times as many responses, if a photo is attached.

To attach a photograph, follow the steps outlined below:

  • Login to QuackQuack.in

  • Go to My Profile > My Photos to upload your photos or simply click on your photo thumbnail on the top left corner of your home page

  • Adding photos to your profile should be a child's play. There are 4 ways by which you can add photos. Follow the steps as below:

  • Login to QuackQuack.in

  • Go to My Profile > My Photos or simply click on your photo thumbnail on the top left corner of your home page

  • Your photos management screen will open.

  • Upload Options:

  • Via Computer:

  • Select tab Upload via Computer

  • Click on Upload

  • Select the photo and click on Open

  • Via Facebook:

  • Select tab Upload via Facebook / Fconnect

  • Enter your Facebook login details when prompted to do so

  • Accept permission to access your photos

  • Select thumbnails of photos which you want to add to profile and click on Submit

  • After photo uploads, you can find them in your album below the uploads tabs

  • Via Email:

  • You can email your profile photo to our email address photos@quackquack.in with your username and registered email address mentioned in the subject of the email.

  • Via Post:

  • You can post your photo by snail mail to our address:

    with your username and registered email address mentioned behind the photo. .

  • Once photos are uploaded, the photos will be screened by the moderators at QuackQuack.in. During this time, other members will see a 'photo coming soon' thumbnail in place of your photo. Once your photo is approved, your photo will appear to others based on your photo privacy setting.

    Yes. You can snail mail the photo to us and we shall scan and upload the same to your profile. All you have to do is send us your photograph with your username and registered email address mentioned behind the photo and mail us to:

    Please note QuackQuack.in is not responsible or liable for any photographs that get damaged or lost in transit. Further, since your photo will not be returned, we recommend that you make a copy of the photo you are sending us.

    After receiving your photograph, we require about 24 hours to upload it. We request you to be patient. You will be notified via e-mail once we attach your photograph to your profile.

    There are 3 steps involved in making your photograph look good on the Internet:

  • Selection: Select a photograph that is bright and colorful. Photographs in general tend to become darker when seen on the computer which is why nighttime photographs are not displayed very well. Select a photograph that is preferably taken outdoors, in the natural light. Also, if possible, select a close-up or a full view snap. Try not to choose a group photograph where you are only a small part of the whole photo. Lastly, choose the photo that brings out your features.

  • Enhancement: Once you have selected and scanned your photograph, you can further enhance it using image enhancing softwares like Picasa. Working with even simple functions like brightness, contrast, hue and saturation can make a big difference to your photo.

  • Optimization: Finally, make sure that you save your enhanced photograph as a .jpg or .jpeg file. These file formats are web-friendly and reduce the file size considerably. Having a small file size is important so that it loads quickly on the Internet.

  • Add your Photo

    QuackQuack.in reviews all photographs uploaded by members. This process usually takes about 24 hours. So while your photo is under review, it may show the status as 'pending' in your album. Others will see a 'photo coming soon' thumbnail in place of your photo untill it is approved.

    Further, while we allow members the ability to upload their photographs, we reserve the right to remove / delete any photo that violates socially accepted norms of decency and/or contains any form of nudity.

    We apologize for the inconvenience and hope that you appreciate our efforts for protecting our members. It is also possible that there maybe some technical error/problem at the time of uploading the photograph. In that case we request that you add your photos again.

    You can show / hide your photograph through the photo privacy setting on the My Photos page. Here, you have the choice to display your photographs to everyone or only to members you have added in your ‘Likes’ list. With the status option:

    Visible to all members: Your photo will be visible to everyone.

    Visible only to my ‘Likes’ or members who I accept: The photographs will be hidden from other members. Only members who you add to your 'Likes' will be able to see your photo or members whose 'Photo requests' you have accepted. With this option, the whole album is hidden from members.

    You can show / hide your photograph through the photo privacy setting on the My Photos page. Here, you have the choice to display your photographs to everyone or only to members you have added in your 'Likes' list. With the status option:

    Visible only to my ‘Likes’ or members who I accept: The photographs will be hidden from other members. Only members who you add to your 'Likes' will be able to see your photo or members whose 'Photo requests' you have accepted. With this option, the whole album is hidden from members.

    The 'Photo protected' message will be displayed if the member has set his / her Photo Privacy Status as (Photographs) visible to my ‘Likes'. If you wish to view this member’s photograph, you will need to click on the 'Send request photo to view photo' link on his / her profile page to place a request.

    Your request will be sent to the member. If the member accepts your request, you will be intimated through a message in your QuackQuack.in mailbox and email and you will be able to view his photograph.

    The member might be interested in seeing your photos after going through your profile. You may judge to Accept or leave the request unattended. You accepting a request will enable only that particular member to see your photo and will be automatically added to your ‘Likes’ list.

    You can check your phot requests under 'Photo requests' page.

    To change your photo, you need to upload your photo via computer or via facebook.

    If you have a soft copy, follow the steps as below:

  • Login to QuackQuack.in

  • Go to My Photos or simply click on your photo thumbnail on the top left corner of your home page.

  • Click a photo and click on delete

  • Yes, you can add upto 20 photographs to your profile. You can also change your existing photograph and attach a new photograph to your profil.
